Training & Development

AFSS delivers a comprehensive range of culturally safe training programs for carers, staff, and workers who support Aboriginal children, young people, and families. Our training is grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing, being, and doing, and is designed to strengthen understanding, build confidence, and develop practical skills that can be applied in everyday practice.

Programs are delivered by experienced facilitators and cover key areas including trauma-informed care, cultural capability, child safety, wellbeing, and professional practice. Training sessions support participants to reflect, learn, and grow in a safe and respectful environment, while meeting legislative, organisational, and sector requirements.
