If you haven’t worked in an Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation (ACCO) before, you’ll notice some differences – and many strengths. At AFSS, our work is grounded in cultural understanding, community knowledge, and a commitment to self-determination.

We aim to strengthen and support the wellbeing of Aboriginal people by respecting the importance of culture, kinship, connection to Country, and the social determinants that influence health and family outcomes. Our programs are designed in collaboration with community and are delivered in ways that honour Aboriginal values, identity, and lived experience.
