AFSS is committed to continuous quality improvement and excellence in service delivery.
AFSS was first awarded accreditation at Certificate level under the South Australian Service Excellence quality framework following an extensive external assessment process. Since that time, the framework has evolved into a nationally recognised system now known as the Australian Service Excellence Standards.
In 2025, AFSS successfully underwent a full re-assessment under the Australian Service Excellence Standards. This process involved the collection of comprehensive evidence, a detailed organisational self-assessment, and an independent external review.
The assessment measured AFSS against eight core standards.

AFSS is proud to confirm that we achieved 100% compliance in the 2025 re-assessment, resulting in a recommendation that our accreditation be extended for a further three years. This outcome reflects the dedication, professionalism and commitment of our staff, leadership and community partners, and reinforces AFSS’ reputation as a provider of high-quality, culturally safe services.
