Melissa McNab

With five years in the Department of Education, Melissa McNab is now a Community Safety & Wellbeing Community Development Facilitator at AFSS. As Chairperson of the Dyslexia Action Group Eyre Peninsula, she helped drive early-years reading reforms that contributed to national curriculum change.Her approach is child-centred, family-focused, trauma-informed, culturally safe and strength-based. Passionate about prevention and early intervention, Melissa works to build safer, healthier communities by empowering children and families to feel supported, protected and able to thrive.
